Energy Equity Town Hall

Members of Public Power New Mexico participated in a statewide town hall on equity in energy transition August 8 and 9 in Albuquerque that was sponsored by NM EPSCOR. The convening completed prior months of regional community conversations on the topic, and was full of informative presentations, as well as deep small group discussions to inform a report. We were impressed with the gathering, and hope to see more work like this on the ground, possibly an annual convening to bring together intersectional allies to advance an equitable energy transition.
